This project started when my client Countryside Partnerships had offered on another site that we were handling at Higher Newnham Farm in Truro which was being sold by Place For People, who are a National Affordable Homes provider. We structured a deal that mirrored the one we had set up in Truro where Countryside Partnerships purchased the site and Places for People completed a Land & Build Package for 184 affordable homes to be constructed for local people to benefit from.
The 100% affordable scheme provides an all-affordable solution for Exeter with home’s available for affordable rent and shared ownership. The new development will offer a collection of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes providing a home to suit any family.
We completed on both sites in Exeter and Truro in December 2022. Work is due to commence on site later this year, with the first homes expected to be complete and ready for occupation in Spring next year.
